This antique Civil War Starr Arms Co. S.A. Army Revolver made ca. 1856-70. Patent date January 16, 1856. The Starr Single Action Army actually postdated the same company’s Double Action revolver, the latter being rather complex and expensive. For collectors, the Starr is a significantly rarer Civil War revolver than either the Colt 1860 Army or the Remington New Model Army.

This item is in very good condition. All serial numbers match. Inspector marks are visible over the metal surfaces and both inspector cartouches are faintly visible on either side of the grips. Barrel is 8 inches in length. Caliber: .44 percussion. Bore is in good condition. Excellent mechanical condition.

Overall condition as seen in photos. Please contact us to purchase.
