Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver (1065)
The Model 1849 Pocket Revolver, a replacement for the Baby Dragoon, was the most widely produced of any Colt percussion pistol. Wildly popular, it became the best-selling Colt revolver of the 19th century and saw widespread use by volunteers on both side of the Civil War.
This example is a .31 caliber six shot percussion revolver with a 6 inch barrel, walnut grips, and a bright finish. All matching except wedge. All metal has been heavily polished with no visible cylinder seam. Serial number 199570. Good Condition. Please contact us to purchase.
